Job Description
Advice and share knowledge and experience within the HR area, make sure local law, legislation and policies are followed. Everyday work and cases are handled and processed in the internal customer support system. Works together with the HR team to develop, improve and implement processes and procedures within the area of responsibility. Deliver service and provides support for managers, employees and colleagues in the specific area of HR expertise. Works actively and independently to improve knowledge and skills, has contact with external customers and participates in bigger manager-trainings when needed. Works mostly on their own within their specific tasks and projects but has collaboration with team members where knowledge sharing is a big focus.

Join our dynamic HR team as an HR Consultant with expertise in operational HR! As a crucial member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving key HR processes, maintaining HR data, and serving as a point of contact for employees and managers. You will also have the opportunity to lead various HR development projects and contribute to the implementation of strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key contact point for employees and managers to resolve queries and personnel-related challenges and give guidance on the key activities and processes within the yearly HR cycle
- Work on daily basis in our customer support system, Zendesk, where you give support via text to managers and employees about current HR policies, procedures and local legislation
- Maintenance of HR master data in our HR system Workday, including ensuring high quality employee data
- Drive operational implementation of key initiatives in alignment with the broader HR / People strategy and business requirements
- Make verbal presentations and trainings online and on-site if needed
- Being involved and take lead in various ongoing and future HR development projects
- Be a point of contact towards external customers and providers
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on self-service transactions, HR portal navigation, and policy interpretation to facilitate self-support
- Experience with Norwegian labor law, collective agreements and cooperation/consultation with Unions
Who are you?
- Degree in Human Resources or equivalent area
- Full professional proficiency in English and a Scandinavian language
- Outgoing personality who feels comfortable talking in larger groups and leading presentations
- Knowledge in Norwegian labor law
- Proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team
- Actively participating and leading projects with a problem-solving mindset
- Self-assured when conveying information that might be perceived as negative
- Excel at enforcing policies and rules
- Nurture your professional relationships and network while serving as a role model within HR
