We are now looking for a Senior IT Container Expertise within Kubernetes on the behalf of our client.

Role/Area:

  • Working with One MES project as Kubernetes (Primary role) Expert, Database and Server administrator (Secondary role) in the project. Possibility to be part of the service in the future.

Description of responsibilities within the role:

  • Member of One MES project team.
  • Responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and management of Kubernetes clusters, ensuring their stability, performance, and reliability.
  • Deploy, configure and manage MES systems and related components on Kubernetes.
  • Ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of the One MES infrastructure, monitoring system health and proactively addressing potential issues.
  • Managing and maintaining databases, ensuring data integrity and security, while a Server Administrator manages the hardware and software of servers, ensuring their optimal performance and security. DBAs focus on database-specific tasks, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and user access management, while Server Administrators focus on the broader infrastructure, including operating systems, user accounts, and network configuration
  • Work with clients internal project team, business stakeholders and service teams related to One MES
  • Work with clients vendors/implementation partner related One MES
  • Compliance and Security: Maintain compliance with corporate & industry standards and regulations, ensuring that the software platform adheres to security protocols and data protection requirements.
  • Work closely with the MES software vendor and Application Management Service provider

Specific skills required:

  • Container Expertise:

– Deploy, and manage scalable applications using Kubernetes.

– Ensure the availability, performance, and readiness of the Kubernetes infrastructure.

– Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.

– Monitor the health of Kubernetes clusters and troubleshoot any issues.

– Stay current with the Kubernetes ecosystem and introduce best practices.

– In-depth knowledge of Containers, including configuration, implementation, and maintenance.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills in IT systems and system management relevant to Container/Kubernetes including ClickHouse, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Amazon S3 and MS SQL, Windows Servers.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively transfer knowledge and collaborate with team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities to address and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently
  • Manufacturing IT experience preferable
