Senior frontend engineer to our client in Malmö
Job description:
Our client in Malmö is looking for a new consultant for a interesting project. The client is an international client within retail. Their retail organisation delivers digital capabilities for areas delivering to their retailers. Within the team, they develop custom web experiences both for end users and web publishers. Together with the creative team, developers take part in the journey from designing web-based content to host performant and cost-efficient infrastructure. This includes development of custom templates in modern frontend frameworks and custom content management system that is tailored for the team’s workflows.
This assignment includes development of templates with strong focus on accessibility, HTML semantics and performance. This includes being creative in allowing the templates to be flexible and customizable through the content management system. Another focus of the assignment is to further develop tools and features to aid management of a web ecosystem.
Requirments:
- Proficient in front-end development and good understanding of web markup semantics.
- Experience in multiple front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Svelte, Vue and understand differences between them.
- Experience in animation libraries such as GSAP and how to optimize animations.
- Understanding of core web vitals and experience in web optimization.
- Understanding of CSR vs SSR vs SSG (client-side rendering, server-side rendering and server-side generation).
- Understanding of SEO and accessibility principles.
Other requirments:
- Good knowledge of software development workflows such as git, reviews and release flows
- Good knowledge of best practices in software development
- Knowledge of common and frequently used cloud technologies.
- Good understanding of the complexities a global system can bring.
- Interest and ability to stay up to date with latest trends and future technical solutions and their role in a commercial environment.
- Ability to understand, prioritise and make conscious decisions to maximise the benefit for our customers and co-workers.
- Interest in understanding the holistic picture of the technology roadmap and ability to navigate in complexities.
- Be able to navigate and prioritise in a fast-paced, changing environment with changing preconditions.
- Able to explain choices and decisions to everyone in a team in an engaging way.
- Ability to write testable, clean and maintainable code.
